Use Gimp 2.10.12 AppImage instead. Gimp version 2.10.14 and up will suffer the problem with scripts that use the bumpmap, such as GTbevel, LayerFX and "Plastic or Glass" script. Maybe when Gimp fixes the issue, the new AppImages will have the fix also.

I've been using AppImages for sometime now. I use the ones without plugins, then run the "Plugin AppImage" to install the latest version of G'mic. https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-pl ... continuous
