Edit stroke made by pencil tool

Mon Jan 13, 2020 3:00 pm

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 10
GIMP Experience: New User

Hi,
What happens is that I want, after drawing with the pencil tool, to move or "edit" the new lines I've drawn. I am new to this, so I dont have idea how to do it. I have looked on the internet but found nothing. If anyone doesnt understand what I'm saying please ask.
Thanks in advance.

You can use the Path tool instead of the Pencil. When done editing as you like it, then stroke the paths at the thickness you want.

You can draw something on a layer (especially if the layer has a transparent background) and then move the layer around but one layer per pencil stroke is going to be tedious. Usually with the pencil you use Ctr-Z to undo your last stroke and retry.

You can try the warp transform tool.
