Reduce denisity in Filters > Noise

GIMP Version: 2.10.14
Operating System: Linux
OS Version: Ubuntu 18.04
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

These are made by duplicating the same text layer

First one is Filters > Noise > CIE Ich Noise and the second one is made using a custom pattern I built from a noise image. My initial goal way to make the second for which I had to use the pattern.

I was hoping to learn how to make the density of noise less in the output for Filters > Noise. Currently, it is either too much noise or medium noise. No way to do as in the one created by the pattern ( less noise ).

Help me out with this. Thanks.

Lower the "Lightness" slider.
