Hi, I have a childhood photo which now has a tint of brown. It looks ok, but would be great if I can get rid of the old photo tint. Any tips on this would be great.

I am currently trying Despeckle, Colour temperature and Exposure tools. Exposure was most effective in making the photo look new. Colour temperature removed the sepia tone to some extent. Despeckle did a lot of help by removing the noise.

Maybe you could select the unwanted colour, with 'Select by color' and than use the hue tool to see what works best.
In my experience it is never just one parameter, so keep trying out different tools to get the best result.
Cheers

You could also try "Color Balance". A more advanced tool wood be to try Colors > Components > Channel Mixer.

post your photo here in Photo Restoration and Enhancement forum and you will find a few will try their hand at fixing it for you.
First thing I would try would be white balance.
