Creating GIMP icon theme

Hi,

Where can I find tutorial about how to create icon theme for GIMP 2.10.12+? I want different toolbox icons, like in a known comm gfx soft, I have icons I want to use (pngs), I copied and renamed Symbolic from /usr/share/gimp/2.0/icons to .config/GIMP/2.10/icons and changed its name in index.theme but it doesn't seem to work?

You need to have a hicolor folder in your .config/GIMP/2.10/icons folder, and it must contain an index.theme file.
