GIMP Experience: New User
I'm new to GIMP but have long experience with PC, CorelDraw, a bit of Adobe and Autodesk. I'm feeling a bit frustrated with GIMP and its interaction with the Wacom CTH-480 tablet. It was working ok yesterday, but today, when I attempt to draw with the brush tool, it pulls up an on-screen context menu - File, Edit, Select, etc.
I can draw with the mouse, but it's a terrible tool for drawing text and signatures. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

That sounds like a right-click menu. Check the settings on your wacom.

I restarted GIMP and the problem went away. This leads me to believe there is bug in GIMP that got triggered when I left GIMP running all night and the Windows inactivity timer invoked the screen lock.
