Bimp Plugin now showing Mac

Hi,
Hoping someone can assist. I have installed the Bimp plug-in on mac, it is all installed and showing in the plug-ins folder but when I quit and reload gimp the plugin is not showing under the file option to use the plug-in. Any ideas?

Are you really using Gimp 2.8 ?
