VCR navigator on GAP not deleting frames

Basically it stops working and quits. GIMP recommends to restart since it may have been left in an unstable state.

I run the VCR navigator to look for the frames to delete, but when I select some and press the trash can button, it does delete the frames(after I restart GIMP, I verify), but the plug-in leaves the GIMP in an unstable state(allegedly) after decomposing itself.
