Hey all wondering if anyone know what I can do to get color back to my Brush Dynamics

I was following along this tutorial: http://gimp-tutorials.net/how-to-create-brushes-in-gimp

When completed I had the brush fine and it worked but I couldn't apply color to it. I realize now it must have something to do with the "greyscale" I applied as a mode. Anyway, before I realized that was the case, I had change brushes to see if I can get color on one of those... just a basic cirlce..that didn't get me color either. So I restarted Gimp, and when I look now at the settings for brush dynamics, I only nave Pressure, Hardness and Size...the color setting has gone missing.

Any can offer any insight? Can it be repaired you think?

I'm learning as I go. Just wait until I start looking at the Windows version of Gimp! Then I'll be in this help thing quite a bit. Not quite use to Gimp but getting there...

Akky, the XP SP3 is just a default that prints if you don't change it. I had that for a while, too, until I noticed it, lol. BTW, I have not upgraded to Lion, I am keeping Snow Leopard because Lion is not backwards compatible with my old imovie and iphoto, and I do NOT want to have to pay to upgrade all of those little extras.

I would have to upgrade my imovie and iphoto to version 11 as I only have version 9, and that would cost about $15 each. At least this is what I read on the apple site. And of course, I'd have to add the $30 to upgrade to Lion.
