List any relevant plug-ins or scripts:
mat-and-frame.scm

I just installed the latest and greatest of the mat and frame script, and it works for the most part , but there is one issue. When I select a pattern fill for either function mat or frame, the same pattern appears when the script is done, I tried several different patterns, but the final result is the same pattern, the light wood one, with grooves in it.
What is going on?

This is my first time with this script. I see what you mean. There is no way to select a pattern in the script dialog. I did find that if I selected a pattern in the patterns and then ran the script, that pattern showed up in the resulting matte, and if I selected a different pattern in the patterns it showed up in the frame.

It's a rather different way of doing it but it does work.

There are two mats and frames scripts.
One is called mats-and-frames.scm, by Eric Jeschke

The other one is called Picture Frame.scm by Graechan.

I don't know which one you have but the mats-and-frames.scm one does not work anymore for me using Gimp-2.8.2 (64-bit). It may work in 32-bit, not sure.
Anyway, I am now using Graechan's Picture Frame and works beautifully. I am able to change the pattern in mine instead of using the default.

Now modified to prevent this problem, with a user selectable pattern.

also tested on 2.8.2 32bit and 64bit
