Hi there. I am developing art for a video game. I have made a very simple image of a wall, and I am trying to "slot" this image into a certain perspective. I have tried using the perspective tool, but most of the detail gets lost and the image doesn't always line up where its supposed to(in the pixels) by doing so. It's also very tedious to have to position the perspective tool on the correct pixels every time, so I was wondering if there was a different way to do it, or a way to keep the detail. I have made a little image trying to show what I am trying to do as you can see.

Whenever I use the perspective tool, the lines in between the bricks dissapear, ruining the image.

What I did was:

Selected the wall
Copied
Placed on new layer
Lowered this layer's opacity so that I could see the white wall below it
Moved the newly copied brick wall over to the white wall then used the perspective tool to resize.

Hmm, I wonder why mine is losing detail. I guess I will fiddle around with my settings, thanks for the quick reply!

Actually you don't need the preliminary move. Just drag the four corner handles to where you want the final rectangle. And in that case you don't need to lower the top layer opacity because it's not where you make the adjustments...
