What are you trying t do exactly? What is the code in "python_gtk"?

oh I use Pygtk UI's ....

EDIT:
So sorry, not a good answer.

Better one: you know guidelab.py? It is build with an GTK- UI!
I used that one making more tabs for using guides-intersections as startingpoint
for ...
And lately I used the same technic for using Gimp as checker-board.
