NO.

The zip is a backup of the old registry.gimp.org web site, which was a repository for script/plug-in creators files. Users would go there for downloads. It was killed off by spam and the bare-bones of the site rescued. Most of it does not work, except the files are there (most but not all)

Do put anywhere in Gimp. All the files are pre-gimp 2.10 and a most will not work. Look in the 'files' folder and there is mix of scripts / plugins some zipped , some not, and associated files (screenshots, code..)

Is it worth keeping a copy? There might be something in there, needed some day, or maybe not ;)

I'm not sure what your question is.
However, most of the resources that were available from the registry.
Would be for previous versions of Gimp and most likely unsupported by the current version.

good evening rich2005 and Wallace

I asked the question because I just saw someone talk about this in a video posted on Youtube. But when I saw in this video all the scripts, I wondered if we could sort before with interesting scripts.
I downloaded to see ... In the folder "files" I saw the scripts and I did not dare to put them not knowing if they were compatible and really interesting. And the other files, I do not I understood nothing! ;)

So I will not use that.
