As you can see the preview error says "Unreachable network file", you can't access the style_udnie.png image in the gmic.eu website. Code: Select all https://gmic.eu/img/style_udnie.png That is the image for Stylize/Picabia: Udnie The uppermost 2 styles, custom style bottom or top layer do not require network connection, that's why they work. I don't know how it works, tried to search if those style images are downloaded on the HDD, but did not find anything in the .gmic folder or temp. Did you click the "update filters" button after installing 2.7.2? if you can update filters it would be strange that you couldn't use stylize. Maybe you have so strong firewall setting that it prevents downloading the stylize filter images from gmic.eu? Just guessing, cause I'm using Linux, no problems here Gimp 2.10.12 Gmic 2.7.2. You're using portable if I'm right, so that might be the issue. |

Hmm, I don't see any reason in being disconnected when using Gimp. Glad it got solved anyway. |

Plenty good reasons not to be connect to the internet all the time. Back in the days of expensive / slow dial-up ISP's most work was done off-line. Hint: While gmic needs a connection if you use the the stylize dropdown menu, the image file style_some-name.png ends up in the gmic folder ... Attachment: gmic-style.jpg [ 87.09 KiB | Viewed 3985 times ] for samj it is ...\GMIC_Filters\gmic Regular Windows Gimp 2.10 ... C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\gmic Linux ~/.cache/gmic Not connected? You can use those files and add to your image as a layer then use the stylize Custom option. |
