GIMP Version: 2.10.14 Operating System: Windows GIMP Experience: New User ![]() When importing a path, is it possible to view each file before importing it, because Gimp opens the folder of my paths but I didn't find how to visualize other than by importing one after another! ![]() |

AFAIK, you need to import before you can view it in Gimp. Assuming the paths are saved as an svg file you can view them in an image viewer, at least in Linux anyway. |

I wonder if Irfanview will view them? I may install it anyway it's better than Windows default viewer! https://www.irfanview.com/ |

In Linux, you can view them in your file explorer or an image viewer such as Pix. Attachment: paths.jpg [ 383.26 KiB | Viewed 1877 times ] |

Seems you can download a shell extension here: https://www.maketecheasier.com/view-svg-thumbnails-windows-explorer/ |

I just tried the latest Irfanview on a Win10 VM and no, it can't open up an svg. Why people still use Windows is a mystery to me...... |

Just because I was bored, I installed the Shell extension. This did work after I assigned View as Large Icons. Gosh, what a waste of time..... Attachment: shell.png [ 144.07 KiB | Viewed 1851 times ] |

Got to use Windows at work, the machine would have Linux Mint installed in a heart beat if it was up to me. The reason for using IrfanView for me on Windows is that you can easily browse through a pile of image folders using keyboard. I have GhostScript installed (always do this on Windows) and the plug-ins pack but it won't help with SVG. |

That looks like the same one. I tested the 64-bit signed version and it works. Just be sure to save all your paths as an .svg file. |
