GIMP Version: 2.10.21 Operating System: Windows GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level I have a few photos of the Stations of the Cross from our village church. Because the Stations of the Cross is not hanging at eye level, the pictures are not in perspective. Is there any way to edit these in Gimp so the top does not appear narrower than the bottom? |

Check this out: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Persp ... -revisited I thought there was a script for this, and if there is, I've not been able to locate it just yet, but have you tried using the perspective tool in GIMP using guide lines? |

The plugin is still there, maybe the url needs updating The listing is here http://kmarkku.arkku.net/ and the perspective section http://kmarkku.arkku.net/Perspective_tr ... aster.html ..but the regular Gimp perspective tool or even the unified transform tool should work edit: Example of perspective tool. Use the corrective (backward) mode. https://i.imgur.com/0cVKTjt.mp4 or for Gimp 2.8 looks like this https://i.imgur.com/o6CEHx2.mp4 |

Thanks, it worked out. Just one more question, what's the difference between 'corrective (backward)' and 'normal (forward)' ? |

The Forward option is used when you want to create a perspective effect on something which is rectangular: Attachment: ksnip_20220912-192606.png [ 124.08 KiB | Viewed 576 times ] |
