Are you really using Gimp 2.8.14 ?

Plasma2 is not a standard Gimp plugin. Also it is a compiled plugin and the attached might not work with manjaro linux. (I compiled it in ubuntu) but Gimp is very forgiving, so worth a try.

Unzip and put plasma2x64 in your Gimp plugins folder

For Gimp 2.8 ~/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins
for Gimp 2.10 ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins/

Another way using standard Gimp.

1. Filters > Render > Noise > Solid Noise

2. Colors > Auto > Stretch Contrast

3. Set FG and BG colors (88679e and 6e3681)

4. Colors > Map > Gradient Map
