Maybe look into the Error Console to see what might be there and remove some of the entries, or clear them entirely.

I checked the error console in GIMP and it says the exact same thing the error message does. Clearing out the console doesn't do any good because the same error comes up. I should add that this is the first time that the procedure browser and the plugin browser have crashed. |

I use windows and for as long as I've been using Gimp, neither the procedure browser and plugin browser have crashed when trying to bring them up. |
