GIMP Version: 2.8.2
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: WIN7 - 64bit
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

List any relevant plug-ins or scripts:
Filers -> Map -> Displace



i have problems getting all the available layers in my dropdown menu
i saved a channel but its not appearing in the list
i tried saving and restarting - that doesnt work

it works on another file

Esper,

Try before -> Layer-> Layer to Image size. Put all layers (to use in list dropdown menu) same size.
Then after this, try again use Displace.

i cant apply layer to image size on a channel, Akros

Esper, in zip file attached has my .xcf where used displace in a channel.
I Wait can be util

Edit: I said wrong ... in .rar, not .zip

it seems its working now, your tip about the image to layer size was right
although i thought the channel was the problem
