Hello again,
Unfourtunately I only have NEF files because I only use Nikon cameras.
But your instruction to change "Auto detection" to "Raw" works.
The file will be opened in Photoflow and then when I finish Photoflow the file is opened in Gimp.

Very good!
Now could you try the following (which is the main new thing compared to other RAW loading plug-ins):
* open the RAW file, do an initial editing in photoflow, then close and send the image to GIMP
* make sure that the layer created by photoflow is selected, then go to "Filters -> PhotoFlow..." to run the PhotoFlow plug-in again
* chose "edit current" in the small dialog that pops-up
The RAW file will be opened again, and all the RAW processing settings will be restored to the values they had when you first sent the image back to GIMP.
Now you can further tweak exposure, white balance, etc... and send again the image back to GIMP. The GIMP layer will be updated and the new RAW processing settings will be saved.
You can also add more editing layers in the plug-in (curves, sharpening, B&W conversion, etc...). All tools are non-destructive, and their settings will be saved and restore if you re-run the plug-in on the same layer.
The plug-in settings are persistently stored as meta-data attached to the GIMP image, and will remain available even if you save, close and re-open the .xcf file.
