Some of Tom Keil's plug-ins are under colors in GMIC, the metal filters are there also. All the plug-ins used to show up under each name and now most of them have scattered.
I think Tom Keil is the only one that can change where he wants his plug-ins to appear.

molly ty for the quick response I do not see the metal filters anywhere. those are the ones i am most interested in. I looked also and made the gmic flder in my roaming or is it supposed to be in appdata I am exicited and anxious to use these filters they look so awesome Ive bein doing allot of text effect tutorials lately and am constantly looking to learn more..

Molly she may have to do the manual filter update if it's not refreshing.

This may be a silly question but do you have the internet square ticked beside the refresh button?
Or, click about > Additional filters > Tom Keil's > then click apply, then click refresh.

Ok one of Tom keils is metallic look right ??? If so I think I'm fixed. If someone wouldnt mind could you list a couple other specific filters to see if it worked please.

Also, I suspect a 'cache' problem. If this is not working, try this :

1. Go to your favorite browser, and put the URL : gmic.sourceforge.net/gmic_def.1506 in it. Click 'refresh' multiple times.

2. Go back to the plug-in, and try to refresh.
