PhotoComix I tried adding a 32 folder but that did not work, MareroQ is smarter than me as i could not get Samj's version to run and it has a 32 folder

why you could not get Samj's version to run ?
just unzip, open the folder and click on GIMP_EN.exe didn't do the trick ?

Anyway yes Samj version may run 32bit plugin but for some reason not MathMap

PS and jumping back to that new Mypaint brushes, i see are included ( in ..share/gimp/2.0/mypaint brushes ) 4 set of additional brushes .

And i wonder if those will be compatible http://photocomix2.deviantart.com/art/M ... -335059175 ...oh wait ! maybe are already included i see a devadep subfolder

And for your addon , plugin etc

the "Preferences" folder correspond to the .gimp user folder of not portable version, so inside are (empty) script, plug-ins subfolders ready to be used

I did change to 32 bit by Samj provision for 64-bit.
Samj - you can ask your version for 32 bit?
ps. Python in the original Onkel Hatti is probably an error?
Click python.exe and error:
The application was not properly Initiated
With version 2.8.5 Onkel Hatti is well!

It is also to be changed?

Thank you Samj as it functions with Gurm unlike the 64bit version,

samj once I uninstalled my anti-virus program your 64bit gimp painter loaded OK but would not run mathmap or Gurn

It is no big deal when the brush sticks.I just right click and then left click the top of the image window. Then i select a new mypaint brush. :)

Where is the version that the brush doesn't stick?

The one that has the MyPaint brush working correctly was Onkel_Hatti builds :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-pa ... kel_Hatti/

I use his "gimp-painter-2.8_Onkel_Hatti_32.zip"

Note : i can't say for the 64bits version, but in the win32 version there was a problem (similar to Partha win32 build) with the Cairo lib on windows that made it painfully slow.
At the time it was easy to fix by taking the official Gimp 2.8.4 (or an older Partha version of the file) libcairo-2.dll and replace the one found Onkel_Hatti build to get the program/brushes working smoothly and fluently.

Rod I am using the 32bit build from Onkel_Hatti, and it works fine, the 64bit build from Onkel_Hatti did not have a 32bit folder?
