I downloaded some hair brushes and when i try to use it
It doesn't look like a preview.
I think it's because of the brush setting but I don't know how to fix it?

A bit more information might help solving your issue.
Which brushes and from where?
Are you using a tablet?
Have you had problems with other brushes?

I think hair brushes, fur, foliage, grass etc., have to be played with the get the effects you want, resize, use the Dynamics to set them in different modes etc.
Just experiment until it has the result you are looking for.

I know but it's seem strange at the beginning as you can see in the example
I try to practice it for each brushes :)

One thing I see mentioned quite often when using tablets with Gimp.
Edit | Preferences | Input Devices | Configure Extended Input Devices.
In the dialog, Device: Pen (eraser, etc.) Mode: Screen.

The Quick Start Guide to Using A Digital Drawing Tablet in GIMP
Setting up GIMP for Artistic Work
Wacom: My tablet was working for a while...

Hopefully some on a Mac with a tablet will chime in. :)
