GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Mac OS
OS Version: 10.7.5
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level


I have a found a weird problem with my move tool. Whenever I go over it, the cursor gives a weird compass looking symbol and won't let me move anything. Can anyone tell me why and troubleshoot for me?

:measure - Measure tool
:move - Move tool
Verify that the correct tool is selected.
They are neighbors, there may be a wrong click at the time of selection.

When you use Move tool make sure the image icon is toggled, not the selection or the path icons.
