Hello,

I want to use GIMP to make my own GIFs. So, after some research, I downloaded GIMP - GAP. However, whenever I try to extract a video, it freezes after I have selected the video and clicked Ok.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you so much for your time.

Dedoubleu firstly 2.8.14 when launched was about as stable as a ' bowl of jelly in a rowboat in rough surf '
I hope someone can inform you if one of the growing pile of bugs involves your problem
do other GAP plugins fail
you could try uninstalling Gimp 2.8.14 and downloading again, then reinstalling

Graechan, I've been testing GAP in GIMP 2.8.14 and it works well. Same as it did with GIMP 2.8.10.

dedoubleu, are you trying to extract a video to frames? if so, mplayer extraction works well.

Yes in Linux distros and Fedora it seems to be perfect but Windows compiles are very buggy. :)
I still have not installed GIMP-2.8.14 for Windows and won't until i know it's been tested and works with Python and PSPI.
