palettes

I know you can make custom palettes from a picture but I forgot how. Haven't done one for a while.

I also want to make it into a gradient. Just incase let me know how please.

I use vs 2.8.10 and G'MIC 1.6.0.1

Followed one of the tuts but got no where.
I thought there was one where you could make it from a line of selected pixels from a photo?

ok got the palette but now I need to make it from darkest to lightest. Making into a gradient didn't even do that.
Found sort....

Once you install the Sample a Gradient Along a Path script...

Note: First create your path then make it active before using this script. ;)

path to gradient. I just wanted to do a gradient of our sky. I did a radial blend and arrayed it to give it that look

Thanks molly. With the first gradient I made i just wanted to get the different gradient from the highest to lowest. It is lighter at the horizon.
I made the box out of a gradient I made of just the sky over head.

Wallace and Sallyanne - thanks again! I have just gone through these tutorials as part of my continuous learning process. Now I have a gradient for my local football team!

Wallace ... I am sure you never sleep.

:hehe
You're welcome OMG, but I wish that I could "never sleep".

The amount of time we spend sleeping In your lives is around 30-35% percent, supposing you sleep the recommended 8 hours every day, which is approximately 33% of your day. Of course, in some cases, you may have to wake up early for something, or sometimes sleep in.

Generally, the range is from 30-35%, assuming you take the recommended time to sleep, less one falls into a coma. If you do, It can even range up to 75% of your life.

That's a lot of seemingly wasted time, nonetheless I do sleep.
