I wasn't sure where to post this so I figured this was the best place. Does Gimp 2.8.14 (or any version) have any support for vector images/brushes?

I know that you can open files that have a .svg file extension and that you can also create .svg files, but I don't think it supports vector brushes.

Thank you Wallace. I was trying to make an avatar but the pic always comes out blurry and I was thinking a vector image might keep that from happening.

You can only export paths (b/w) as vectors in GIMP. It's the only vector export function that GIMP has and has limited usefulness though I've had more need of it lately. :)

Thanks lylejk. It turns out I wouldn't be able to use a vector pic anyways  so I'm trying to figure out how to make a pic not look like I just dropped a box of colored sugar cubes on the floor :puzzled

Charlie try Inkscape for nice crisp resolution. A vector program. It will blow your mind. :)
