Disregard the background. I'm referring to the players themselves. It kind of gives a cartoon vibe, but very soft, smooth and clear. Does anyone know a script that would filter images like this?

you may try with. G'MIC Artistic/Graphic Novel, then play a bit with Brightness/Contrast and Mode between Layers

Here is my experiment with G'MIC/Artistic/Graphic Boost with a screen shot of the settings I used. You can experiment with them to see if it gets it closer to what you want.
