I was just wondering if there is a better way to do it.
I was looking at the brushes trying to find the sparks brush but they are not named until you click on it, then I can see the name of it. I have a lot that look similar to each other.
Is their a better way to look at the brushes ?
It would be nice if you could hoover over them and it display the name of it.

You could check out this Gimp Chat thread link about... Improved MrQ add-on manager

Also,
this is how I have my brushes size and view type setup.
To help make it a bit less confusing,
when trying to find brushes.

Thank You Wallace, I had the brush preview at extra large but I didn't have view type set to list and that is exactly what I wanted. :tyspin

Don't overlook checking out the usefulness of the Improved MrQ add-on manager,
that I linked to in the previous post.
It's quite a handy plugin,
that's used by many of our members,
myself included.
;)

Thanks Wallace for showing that. I felt the same as Tom and this way is really much better.

No problem Pat625. :bigthup
The default setting use to be fine for me,
but as I became older...
I realized that I needed to redefine these preview size and type settings.
