i'd like to increase the saturation value of my image, but by a specific amount instead, if i do it by using the hue-saturation tool i can't control the exact number i want (only get to a more saturated value) so i'm not sure how i'm supposed to do it

You could look into perhaps using,
G'MIC > Color > Specific Saturation.

after checking the tool, i'm not sure it does what i want it to do, i want to do something like this, i have a spot, the spot is made by a pixel whose HSV value are (15,10,55) i want all of them to have an increase of 50 point in the S value so that they turns into pixel that have a value of (15,60,55)

Sorry,
but I don't know of a way to do this kind of pixel value calculation.

the reason i wanted a tool like that was because i wanted to increase certain patches of my image to a more warmer color tonality so i tried different setting in the g'mic tool that works on temperature balance instead until i got the color i wanted

i also found that the overlay paintbrush mode kinda does what i wanted i to do
