Hello everybody,

I wonder if there is a way to adjust the colour of the guidelines.
I (have to) use a dark theme with a grey background. The guidelines are dark-blue, which I can hardly see. Is there a way to make them 'lighter'?

Generally, it's a style property in your theme. Can you provide more information about your theme?

Hello Odinbc,

I use the default theme. The dark colours come from my MATE desktop Theme: 'Blaack Mate' which then makes GIMP look dark as well ( fortunately -> easier on my eyes)
If I knew what to style to get another colour would help.
I'll check out other themes to see if anyone has changed that colour. Thanks for your hint.
