Hello There! Is there a topic I can follow to learn the basics on how to create digital clipart used for birthday parties or baby shower themes similar to the those we see on etsy and pinterest (pic attached) So far I can do head, eyes, and ears (using elipse tool) but I want to learn how to create a body and outfits etc, etc. Thanks

If it's really clipart, then it's vector graphics and you should be using Inkscape and not Gimp.

Great to Know ofnuts !!
Gimp has been great so far for the things I create are more for birthday party personalized images, labels and stuff. So you're saying that to create my own doll images similar like above image, gimp won't work for that?

Gimp can work for that but inkscape might be easier. It's also free and open source and it's a great vector art program.
