so i'm not getting any error messages, i just can't save something. i'm working with a template from redbubble. the website recommends using gimp if you don't have photoshop (i have a really old version of photoshop on a really old laptop that is really sloooooow). whenever i try to save the template after i've worked on it, gimp crashes. anyone know what's up with this? is it gimp? the template? SOMETHING????

Not enough info to evaluate your problem, when you say it crashes what do you mean, what is the process?
Instead of File>>Save, you could try File>>Export and export it as a jpg, png or whatever.

It my well be,
that your machine has a memory limitation and or a cpu limitation,
or both.

Next time you launch GIMP.
Open Windows Task Manger.
To view your memory usage and report back with your findings.
