GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

Hallo,
If one runs a Gimp batch command
"c:/Program Files/GIMP 2/bin/gimp-2.8.exe" --verbose -idf --batch-interpreter python-fu-eval -b .....
from out an cmd-box a second windows opens (either with succes message or not) in any case to close this extra window it needs any key-press action.

How can I close that window 'automatically' or indicating it in the commandl (see above please) that that window is not needed/wanted?
Greets
Peter

AFAIK this window is created by the "--verbose" flag (because the messages created by "--verbose" have to be shown somewhere). Remove the "--verbose", if you don't want that window (and don't want to see the messages).

Sorry, that is not the solution. Removing --verbose ==> same Window occurs

If I open Gimp then open the Python-console, typing there the command
that extra window does not occure ...

THAT python-console from Gimp is the solution IN GIMP.
Question, is that to available so to say outside of Gimp?

EDIT:
Problem solved: gimp-console-2.8.exe does the job
It was owned by my Admin, so I had to change the ... security property
Now Peter is happy!
