Scenario 1: you installed them to your windows system, which means they are available in all other applications as well.
Go to the Control Panel and Fonts. Delete them from there.

Scenario 2: you put them in your Gimp fonts folder, which means they are only available in Gimp.
With the Windows Explorer, go to your Gimp user folder and delete them from there.
Path is probably: C:\Users\Username\.gimp-2.8\fonts

Hiya, did not install them as far as I am aware and they are not showing in the Windows Font Folder. Its only Gimp picking them up no other programs.

There are only 2 places where GIMP gets it's fonts from by default,
these locations have already been mentioned.

1. The Gimp User fonts folder.
2. The Operating System fonts folder.

One could create an additional folder in another location.
However,
you would need to add this additional folder's location to GIMP's preferences,
so that GIMP knows where to look for it.

You could search for a specific font,
that you wish to remove.
By the name it has within GIMP.
To see where this font is located at.

I would advise against,
removing fonts from the Operating System's fonts folder.
Sometimes when programs are installed.
They might also install any necessary fonts needed by it's software,
to function correctly.

To be safe,
only remove fonts for the Operating System's fonts folder.
When you installed them yourself and you know that any installed program isn't dependent on them.
