I'm having a problem with the "Bevel Reflect Logo" dialog box.
The bottom of the dialog does not show the "Okay" button and the dialog box can't be resized and their's no scroll bar.
To put it another way, I can't reach the "Okay" button at the bottom.
Holding the "Alt" key down to drag the dialog around does not work in Windows like it does in Linux.
Also the "scroll bar" script for GIMP 2.8 does not work in 2.10.
So how does one use the "Bevel Reflect Logo" add on for GIMP 2.10?

You need the Scrolling Interface plugin.
This will add a scroll bar to the side of the dialog box.

Below is the only one I have.
I'm not sure if it will work with later versions of GIMP.

There's also an ALT-Drag thing,
that can be used in windows.

@wallace:
I've already tried the scroll bar plugin/script and it doesn't work, however,
the "Alt" key method does allow me to move the dialog box around.
I can now get to the bottom of the dialog box but when I click "okay" I get this...

When I tried to go to that website to get that "ML" version, the website won't open.
I've been working on this all evening and now I'm just "pooped."
I'm going to continue this madness tomorrow.
I do appreciate your help.

Here is the ML BevelReflect plugin that I have.
Again, I'm not sure if this will work in 2.10.

I would like to add,
that there seems to be a caveat to using that ALT-Drag software.
Apparently,
it may disable some functionality of the ALT shortcut keys within GIMP.

If you find this to be the case.
Shutdown the ALT-Drag software and enable it when needed.

Thanks for the tip. How do you shut it off & on? Is there a toggle?
I would like to say, thanks again for your help last night.
I woke up this morning with a sense of great relief.
I definitely will be exploring all the possibilities of the new gold effects.

You're welcome.

When you start ALTDrag.
It runs in the background in the system tray.
There's no toggle.
You just have to shut it down.

Okie dokie. It's odd. When I tried to use it this morning for the first time, it wouldn't work at all. The only thing I could think to do was to re-install it and that worked. So I'll check the system tray from now on.
Okay then. We'll see how it goes.

I haven't used ALTDrag in quite a while,
but that is odd behavior.

As I found out, if you have Samj's version 2.10.5, the scroll bar function for long dialog boxes (Script fu), is already built in. I tried the BRL, and when I pulled the top of the dialog box down to make it shorter, the scroll bar appeared. I could not find that function built in for python scripts.

@Pat625:
Okay, thanks for the info. I don't have BRL on my version of Samj's Portable so I'll have to look into that. What you're saying here is good news. When I get around to getting BRL working on the portable maybe it won't as bumpy a road.
By the way, my version is 2.10.2. Where do you get 2.10.5?
Thanks Pat.

Pat - you say you have Samj portable 2.10.5 - where did you get it? My download from Samj site is 2.10.4 appears to be the latest one and I can't get any scrollbar on BRL.

I think I will give 2.10 away and restore 2.8!

If you make use of samj's portable package you DO NOT need to choose between 2.10.4 and 2.8.
You may keep both, that's the main positive aspect of portable packs.

Diego - I need to restore GIMP 2.8 because I took it out from my laptop machine when I was trying to download/install 2.10 for the first time from the GIMP website last week.

OMG, when I downloaded 2.10.5, I thought I was getting 2.10.4. When it finished, in the "about" section, it said 2.10.5. Maybe a typo?

Do you see the "commentaires" on samj's blog?
edit: there are 9 commentaires, this one is the 7th. in the list.
If so, double-check the address, it should be valid for one month.
