Operating System: Linux
GIMP Experience: Basic Level



Is there a way to add text notes to a GIMP file, preferably per-layer? The layer name can only hold so much info. Just curious. Thanks.

Location: Native to NYC living in Arizona, Gimp 2.8 & 2.10, Win 11 PC.
There's always, Image > Metadata > Edit Metadata.
Not sure about adding data for each layer.
