Assuming that you are not using Gimp 2.8 but are using Gimp 2.10

(1) In Gimp. Open the menu "Edit -> Preferences" and expand the "Folders" section at the bottom, The entry gives the plug-ins folder location: usually C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins
Note this is a hidden folder and you might need to un-hide it
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... windows-10(2) Go and find that folder, put the plug-in (something.exe (+ any associated dll's) or something.py in that folder. Remember that you might need to extract the file(s) if you downloaded a zip file.
