GIMP Version: 2.10
Operating System: Mac OS Mojave
GIMP Experience: New User

I downloaded the plugins from the GMIC downloads page for MacOS Mojave. I then installed the plugins to the library folder in my Mac. I saw another post on here, the person had the same problem as me.

I downloaded the package from the G'MIC download page
Unpack it and move folder GMIC and exe gmic_gimp_qt (hence the content of the tgz) to ~/Library/Application\ Support/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins/

If you don't know how to reach that normally hidden folder Library in your user account (~): open a Finder Window, do shift+cmd+G and type ~/Library!
Start Gimp!

When I restart Gimp, G'MIC is not in Gimp.
Thank you for any help :tyspin

I'm not a Mac OS user,
but I found this here on Gimp Chat:

Help on G'MIC install on Mac OS

Also,
have you tried using any of the Partha Builds for Mac.
I do believe,
that some builds.
Come with G'MIC by default.
You can check it out @
Partha's Place

Just a linux user looking at how other things work ;)

GMIC-Gimp-2.10-osx.tgz That is a monster 83 MB archive. Apart from the GMIC folder (does that go in plug-ins as well? or somewhere else? ).

Have you made the gmic_gimp_qt plug-in exectuable? Not executable = no show.

Thank you for the info. I am using Partha, but it is slow as a snail, no where near as fast as Gimp. I will keep trying. :thanku
