GIMP Version: 2.10.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

When ever I try to run optimize gif it does this to my animation.
No other version did this.
Is it a bug or am I just lucky ?

It is a bug see: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/4209

No easy way around it that I can see. Making a gif yesterday, I had to use another Gimp (2.8) just for the optimise.

edit: If you do not have / want another gimp installation then the command line gifsicle can optimise a gif. https://www.lcdf.org/gifsicle/ very straight forward

I have a portable Gimp 2.8.22 that has come in handy a lot of times.
