GIMP Experience: New User

I haven't used this filter for several months.
No problem if I choose an Emap but if I choose a gradient (I previously selected the gradient in the tools and in the filter settings window):

What's wrong?

It is only with samj 2.10.14 that I have this problem. With samj 2.10.13 not this problem with the choice of the gradient.

Try resetting the dialog's perpetrators.
To see if after this reset,
that the selected gradient will work.

Wallace, I reset each time this morning and nothing is changed. :gaah
And before coming back to write my post above, I had the idea to open 2.10.13 to see, at any chance, if the problem was repeated and when I saw that with this version it is OK, I opened 2.10.14 again and the problem was repeated.

From your screenshots,
the error seems to be occurring with the map-object.exe in 2.10.14.

That could be only part of the solution.
However, there may be other dependencies.

You could try the other bump-map.exe file from 2.10.13,
to see if it works, without any further errors.

I do believe this has been discussed here on GC before,
but I can't seem to find the thread.
To confirm this and the workaround or not.

I replaced the map-object.exe of samj 2.10.14 with that of samj 2.10.13 and now no more problem! :)
