GIMP Experience: New User



hello and good day

years ago - gimp was very smart desinged and supportive.

in the newest version i struggle with the option to copy the path - the path where a file is stored.

this is - afaik - not possible. Not;: i cannot copy and paste this -path.

SMH, you meant file path. I'm thinking GIMP paths.

Sorry about that! Let me check my own system.

I didn't have trouble copying a file path in GIMP. Were you opening an existing image?

Ha, ha, I also imagined paths by Gimp path tools just as other persons.

Anyway, about file path, have you tried "File -> Copy Image Location" or "Show in File Manager?"

Besides the two options shown by firstmimic, you can also got to Image>Properties, you can copy the "File name:" field.
