Question for the Mac Gimp users. Has anyone heard anything about an improvement on Big Sur? Or maybe tips, for example for the missing walking ants?

A fix has seemingly been found, and is on its way, possibly next Gimp update (2.10.30).

You can use the “Selection Editor”. It can be added to the docks. This way you can easily see the slection.
