I have no idea what "bimp" is, but I did notice it on my MX package Manager. I assume it would work, but won't install something I know nothing about.

MX Linux runs on Debian though, not Ubunto.

BIMP - Batch Image Manipulation Program. It's been around GIMP for a while and you can ask aroud. Find more info here:
https://alessandrofrancesconi.it/projects/bimp/

PS If you get it working in your system let me know the "how to", please.

Hi Pocholo.

BIMP-2.4 compiles in (k) Ubuntu Focal Foss quickly and easily (requires glib-2.0 and gtk-2.0) and works fine (copy to plug-ins folder: bimp - must be executable and bimp-locale - translation files).

Thank you MareroQ, this is great! :coolthup

I was going to install the plugin, then saw MareroQ post one he compiled. I tested it and it works fine here too on this Debian (Buster) system. I use a Gimp appimage, so it's very versatile. I figured it should work.

Thanks MareroQ for posting that.

Bimp update - v2.5 (binary below)
"Fixed Color Curve not working if exported using GIMP 2.10"

Thanks MareroQ, procedure works fine for appimage (and for regular installment of Gimp, for lazy ones).

Tested on:
Linux Mint 20 Mate == Ubuntu Focal, GIMP_AppImage-release-2.10.22-withplugins-x86_64.AppImage

appimage (hidden) plug-ins folder is under user home folder:
/home/$USER/.config/GIMP-AppImage/2.10/plug-ins/

You can replace old Bimp version manually (instead compiling new one) for regular Gimp too, same way (just admin rights needed), at
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/

Hi Mackenzieh.

Primarily for Windows10 (but you've probably already checked :yes ).
However, the installer version is 32bit - and without 32bit plugin support it won't work.
The 64bit version is available here:
https://www.gimpscripts.net/2021/01/bim ... 64bit.html
With a possible little bonus - bigger preview (if you want it  ).
