Photo to simple Pencil drawn

Hello, I am wondering whether there is any plugin that can generate pencil drawn or line only output from a normal photo ?

I would more than happy if there is some method which will give an output just like we see in newspapers. Someone drew it with a pen or pencil, with single strokes all over.

If that is not possible, kindly help me get the closest match. I can import it to Inkscape and trace using the Bezier pen. Thanks.

I found a good method by using Filters > Edge Detection > Difference of Gaussians ( legacy )

I made it this way:

Apply "Comic book for 2.10" filter (= my "photo to cartoon" plugin)
G'MIC -> Colors -> Curves (Colorspace=Lch) : lower Chroma to 0 everywhere, add a point (32,255) on Lightness

I knew it had to be bédé mod. Thanks for hint, the roof needs bit more detail in my opinion, but that can be achieved with another point.

The French version is on my github (see signature) (for Gimp 2.8 and 2.10) (Gimp gets it in Filters->Artistic->Bédé).
The English version (translated by Nidhogg) is here (for Gimp 2.10 only) (Gimp gets it in Filters->Artistic->Comic book for 2.10).

Thanks. But I am unable to use because the menu is too tall and extends beyond the Window

Not available. The only entry is " console ". I placed it under > .config > GIMP 2.10 > plugins

Thanks. I added bede2.10.py to plugins folder, but there is no entry in Filters > Artistic like before.

Did you:
Rename the download bede2.10.py.zip (4371B) to bede2.10.py
Using Linux ? Make it executable.

Thanks. Making it executable works. Sadly, it works but throws an error as seen below

I am using the 2.10.25 App Image with plugins -version.
