Hey everyone,

Talk about an on-and-off user!! eeks, that's me...but :gaah ! I'm trying to make this gimp_text thing to work for me and I know I'm really close (I think) ...but not there yet. I have opened the text box, picked out a font, but so far no go!

Location: Native to NYC living in Arizona, Gimp 2.8 & 2.10, Win 11 PC.
I put together a short/simple video clip of the text tool in use,
which may or may not be helpful.
