I'm getting the following error when trying to open a RAW file in GIMP. I currently have Darktable 3.4.1.1 and GIMP 2.10.22 installed. I have tried multiple different things and searched various documents but cannot get it to work.

Getting error - Calling error for procedure 'gimp-file-load': error opening file 'C;\users\jritc\appdata\local\temp\gimp\2.10\timp-temp-179440.exr' for reading.

When I try to open a RAW file, it does open in Darktable and I get the message that closing Darktable will import the image into GIMP. However, once GIMP tries to import, I get the error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

'C;\users\jritc\appdata\local\temp\gimp\2.10\timp-temp-179440.exr'? Is it really "C;" and instead of "C:"? Some problem with the configuration?

C:\users\jritc\appdata\local\temp\gimp\2.10\timp-temp-179440.exr

It is C:
However, it's also timp-temp-179440.exr "EXR" which I thought was strange. Left it there because it was automatically entered.
Should it maybe be "EXE" ? timp-temp-179440.exe ?

EXR could be normal, this is a high-bit-depth image format.

Otherwise, when you get the message is the file there or not? Of is a file with a similar name present in that directory, or with the same name but in another directory?

Nothing ended up in that folder. Nothing was there before, during, or after the error occurred.
I also did a search for timp-*.* and nothing showed up in appdata at all.

I had same situation, maybe due to installing gimp development version,
Try to do:
Please check your gimp plugins folders locations (you can find it in preferences, around end of list.)

For me those were
c:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins\
c:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\
XXXX is your windows username of course, your gimp version number (2.10) may also warry.
Then try:
Uninstall gimp, you may have more than one, uninstall all.
Restart computer.
Delete plugins folders, or whole gimp directories.
Install gimp again.
