Hi. I have changed my gimp version to 2.10.36 portable Samj.
I have currently problems to save an edited image and I get this error message. (this didn't happen in my previous version)

Please, can you tell me what to do?
Thanks a lot.

This might seem like a silly question, but have you tried using the "Export" function?

Thanks Wallace. Yes, I go to File - Export as
I've always done in that way.

I'm using the same portable version and can not replicate this error.
Sorry...

It looks like you don't have user privileges on your Desktop. Can you save anything else to the Desktop?

Thanks Wallace.
Tas_mania, thanks. I can save items in my desktop or download a pictre without problems.
It seems as when I want to save an edited image, my computer isn't connected to gimp. Or it can be promen of extensions. I don't know.
I will try to know. Thanks a lot.

I've observed that what is problem with the image and denied permission.
If I changed the name to the edited image there is no problem
If I try to save the image after editing it with the same name or identity, there is problem and it doesn't permit me to save it. I mean I can't replace it.

Thanks for your help.

Issa what do you see when you right click on the image in its folder and schoose the properties option from the menu list?

I see something like this:

Is your Read-only option for this item ticked instead?

Issa,
At the bottom of this screenshot there is a Security section.
And you can tick where it says "Unblock".
Thus, you confirm that the file is not dangerous, even though it's from the internet.
And I guess, saving will work after that.

Nelo, Thanks a lot for your help.
I did click on Unblock
Then did a bit of edit on the image and tried to save it option replace and I got the error message again.
However if I change the name or number of the photo it saves it without problem.
Then I have checked on propieties again and there isn't option to Unblock

The image comes from my sister's phone, so no problem.
