GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Experienced User


When I paste text into a new text box which includes several lines, the last line is first, then the secon last with the first line last. Any thoughts?

Check the Text tool options for some large and negative vertical spacing.
