Part 1 of 2 displace the corner.
Download and install the gradient attached to the next post that I've called 'Corner Lift'.
Start with your original picture layer cropped to content and smaller than the image canvas. I've used a layer filled with a gingham pattern as a test case.
Duplicate the original picture layer and set the layer name to displace map.
With the gradient tool with all default settings, apply the 'Corner Lift' gradient starting at approximately point 1 as shown below and ending at approximately point 2.

With the displaced corner layer active:
Filters -> Map -> Displace
Aux Input: The displace map layer.
Aux2 Input: The displace map layer.
Abyss policy: None
Horizontal displacement: 75
Vertical displacement: 75
Other settings all default values.
The result should look like this:

This will have distorted the whole picture and we want just the corner so duplicate the original picture layer and place it above the displaced corner layer in the layer stack. Erase the corner to blend it in to the displaced corner. Many ways to do this I just used the erase tool with a large round fuzzy brush, '2. Hardness 025'.
Merge down to the displaced corner layer.
